At Grace United Methodist Church, we believe that church isn’t just a place you go - it’s a community you build. We’re committed to being a church for our neighbors and partnering with them. Whether it's sharing meals, showing up for local events, or offering a listening ear, we strive to form real relationships that reflect God’s love in action. Our doors are open, but so are our hearts, and we’re always looking for new ways to connect, serve, and grow alongside our wider community.
Beyond the Walls

Beyond the Walls is more than a program—it's a movement that began in the summer of 2024. It's inspired by a simple truth: Jesus was always on the move. He traveled from town to town, from seashores to mountaintops, walking alongside people, listening to their stories, sharing meals, and engaging in meaningful conversations. His ministry wasn't confined to synagogues—it happened in the streets, at dinner tables, and wherever people gathered. It was deeply relational and always rooted in love.
So we ask ourselves: What would Jesus do if He lived at 375 Broadway, Lynn, MA today?
As the body of Christ, we believe we're called to be the church outside the church—bringing His presence into the everyday rhythms of our city. For the past few years,
we took our first steps into Lynn's vibrant community life. We marched in the Pride Parade, celebrated at the Diversity Matters Festival, offered meditation by the Lynn Shore, and shared meals with neighbors at local restaurants. Each moment was an opportunity to connect, to listen, and to love.
But this is only the beginning.
We're committed to making Grace UMC a living presence in the heart of Lynn—not just a building people visit on Sundays, but a community that shows up where life is already happening. We're here to know our neighbors by name, build relationships that matter, listen with open hearts, respond to real needs, and join hands with others to make a lasting difference.
